As a part of the automobile industry’s efforts to rejuvenate the affected vehicles in the disastrous floods that hit Chennai earlier this month, two wheeler manufacturer Suzuki Motorcycle India has organised a 16-day free relief service camp for its customers, the company informed in a statement.
The camp that started from December 21 will continue till January 5, 2016 at all the company's outlets in the city and will offer free engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug, chain cleaning and lubrication.
Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India said, "Suzuki stands with the people of Chennai in their beleaguered times. We are conducting a flood relief service camp at our dealerships in the city to support our patrons. Our sincere best wishes to all two wheeler owners for a safe and happy ride on the roads."
Suzuki Motorcycle is also offering a special exchange offer to its customers for vehicles affected by flood as an extension of its support for the city of Chennai.
Other manufacturers like Honda, Nissan and Chevrolet have also stepped forward to help vanquished customers repair their cars. Honda has waived off the labor charges on customer’s expenses for the repair of affected cars. The company is also providing a 10% discount on the spare parts and 50% discount on value added services like anti-rust, paint protection etc.
