Numeros has launched the Diplos Max electric scooter in India
Gets removable batteries which provide a claimed range of upto 140km
Priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bangalore)
Numeros Motors has launched the Diplos Max electric scooter in India. It is a personal mobility scooter which is based upon the same platform as their commercial electric scooter. The scooter is available in a single variant and is priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bangalore).

The Numeros Diplos Max, based upon the commercial scooter from the manufacturer, gets a very long seat which can comfortably allow two adults to sit along with their backpacks and still leave some space. The single LED headlight upfront,, the angular cowl on top of the front apron which has the LED DRL, and the high-mounted front beak complete the overall design of the electric scooter giving it a contemporary look. The scooter is available in 3 colour options: Crimson Red, Sonic Sliver and Cosmos Blue.
The Numeros Diplos Max electric scooter gets a total battery capacity of 3.7kWh which is divided between two removable batteries and is paired to a 2.67kW (peak) hub-mounted electric motor. The batteries provide an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) claimed range of 140km on a single charge. The scooter has a claimed top-speed of 63kmph. The batteries can be charged in 3-4 hours.
The scooter gets two riding modes: Eco and Normal. The Eco mode prioritizes range over speed while the Normal mode provides a good balance between the two.
We recently rode the Numeros Diplos Max and here's what we think about it.
The Numeros Diplos Max is a long scooter and has a wheelbase of 1,430mm. It gets a conventional telescopic fork and dual-shock absorbers. It gets a 220mm disc at the front and a 180mm disc brake at the rear which is mounted on 12-inch alloy wheels. The scooter weighs in at 137kg kerb.

In terms of features, the Numeros Diplos Max gets an LCD display which displays all the basic information as the speedometer, the state of charge, the odometer, trip meters and the other telltale lights. The scooter gets two riding modes as mentioned before (Eco and Normal) and a dedicated reverse mode.

The Numeros Diplos Max goes against the likes of Honda Activa e:, TVS iQube, Vida V2, and the Ola S1X.
