Hero MotoCorp has launched the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 in India at Rs 86,500 for the base Drum variant and Rs 90,000 for the Disc variant (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The commuter motorcycle gets a refreshed design, new tech features and improved fuel efficiency.
The new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 now comes with dual-tone graphics, eye-catching colour options, XTEC 2.0 badging, rim tapes and a stitched dual-textured seat. It is available in five colours: Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue and Matt Chestnut Brown.

Powering the bike is the same 124.7cc single-cylinder engine as the Super Splendor XTEC, producing 10.7PS and 10.6Nm. Hero claims a fuel efficiency figure of 72kmpl, thanks to Hero’s i3S idle stop-start system and fuel injection setup. The bike also gets an ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) for quieter engine starts.

The biggest update comes in the form of new features. While the bike continues with a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts, phone battery indication and real-time mileage display, a USB Type-C charging port has also been added.
On the safety front, the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 now gets hazard lights, a front disc brake and an engine kill switch for added convenience.

The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 goes up against other 125cc commuter motorcycles such as the Honda Shine, TVS Raider 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
