Bajaj Auto has launched the All-Black variants of the Bajaj Pulsar F250 and the Pulsar N250, and has finally equipped the two motorcycles with dual-channel ABS. Here’s the ex-showroom Delhi pricing and its comparison with the standard models with the single-channel ABS:
|
Bajaj Bikes |
All-Black Variant |
Standard Variant |
Premium |
|
Bajaj Pulsar F250 |
Rs 1,49,978 |
Rs 1,44,979 |
Rs 4,999 |
|
Bajaj Pulsar N250 |
Rs 1,49,978 |
Rs 1,43,680 |
Rs 6,298 |
The premium is a little substantial but Bajaj has tried to offset it by offering the 250cc bikes in a new colour scheme consisting of gloss and matte black finish. The red and white stickers on the bodywork as well as on the rims offer a sporty contrast while the blacked out powertrain gives the bikes a mean look.

Apart from the new safety feature and the cosmetic updates, the rest of the motorcycles remain the same as the respective standard variants. The Pulsar 250 twins are powered by an all-new 249.07cc single-cylinder air-oil-cooled engine churning out 24.5PS and 21.5Nm. Even the 300mm front and the 230mm rear disc remain the same as the single-channel ABS variants. Notable features include a multifunction digital instrument cluster with mileage and range readout, gear position indicator, tank-mounted USB port, all-LED lighting system with LED projector headlight.
With the addition of the dual-channel ABS, the Pulsar 250 twins have become a bit more wholesome than before. That said, we’d have liked it if they also received smartphone connectivity. Chief rivals to the Pulsar 250 twins include the KTM 250 Duke, Suzuki Gixxer 250, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Yamaha FZ-25 and Yamaha FZ-S 25.
