The Indian manufacturers got us quite excited this week while two hallowed manufacturers from Japan and England disappointed

This week saw a few upcoming motorcycles getting spied on and a legendary British nameplate making a comeback. Let’s take a look at the biggest news stories of this week:

Hero Mavrick Teased and Spied

During this week, Hero MotoCorp first confirmed that its upcoming 440cc bike, based on the Harley-Davidson X440, will be called Hero Mavrick, and then also confirmed its launch date. At the same time, the motorcycle was spotted testing.

Shortly after that, the manufacturer teased the Mavrick, revealing its silhouette. The bike will come equipped with an LED headlight similar to that of the Xpulse 200 4V, and revised tail section, tank design and suspension setup among other changes compared to the X440.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 Spied

The upcoming Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 has been spied once again and from these set of images, we think that the bobber will get a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650 Spotted

The upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650 was also spied. It gets upswept pea-shooter exhausts like the ones on the Shotgun 650 but they are chromed-out units on the upcoming roadster instead of the blacked-out ones on the bobber. The pillion seat is also the same removable unit.

Triumph Daytona 660 Launched Abroad

The legendary ‘Daytona’ made a comeback this week! Well, it was a disappointing comeback to be honest as the Triumph Daytona 660 is more a sports tourer rather than the hardcore supersport we’ve always loved. See for yourself in our story here.

Yamaha 2024 Range Launched

Yamaha India did what they’ve been doing for the past few years: painting their current bikes in new colours and calling it an updated lineup for the model year instead of launching exciting new vehicles that suit the manufacturer’s storied history better. So, the Yamaha R15 V4, FZ-FI V3, FZ-S FI V3, FZ-X and the FZ-S FI V4 Deluxe models received new colours for 2024.
