Citroen will hike the C3’s prices from July 1.
An increment of up to Rs 17,500 has been announced.
Exact price hike will depend on the specific variant.
The Citroen C3 is currently sold between Rs 6.16 lakh and Rs 8.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
Citroen has announced what will be the third price hike for the C3 hatchback. The increment, which won’t be steeper than Rs 17,500, will be implemented from July 1. Exact variant-wise pricing hasn’t been divulged yet and more details can be expected come July 1.

The French marque recently launched a new top-spec Turbo trim, which added a few critical features that were missing from the C3’s package, and you can know all about the details here.

Its list of features now includes electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear wash and wiper, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, manual AC, rear parking camera, and a rear defogger as well. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-hold and tyre pressure monitoring system.

The hatchback continues to be offered with two engine options: an 82PS 1.2-litre petrol naturally aspirated unit, and a 110PS/190Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mill. The 5-speed manual is paired to the former, while the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit gets a 6-speed manual. There is no automatic on offer yet, neither is there a diesel option.

When the C3 was initially launched, the base-spec variant was priced at Rs 5.71 lakh. With this price hike being enforced, the starting price could rise all the way to the 6.32 lakh mark, an increase of more than Rs 50,000 compared to its introductory price. The hatch continues to rival the likes of the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
