Upcoming Suzuki Access 125 Spied Testing
Will get a redesigned headlight
May continue to get the same engine as the outgoing model
Suzuki's best-selling scooter in India, the Access 125, has largely remained unchanged since its last major update which it received eight years ago. However, as the brand gears up for a refresh, new spy images of the updated Access 125 have surfaced, signalling that a refreshed version is coming soon.
The updated model is expected to launch early next year, bringing a mix of subtle and noticeable design changes.
The latest spy shot reveals a redesigned headlamp section, which appears sharper than the current model. While the front apron and fender seem to be slightly updated, the rear section, including the single-piece grab rail and long seat, remains largely similar to the current model.

Practicality could be improved with a larger floorboard, and the underseat storage space might also be increased. Additionally, Suzuki is rumoured to be adding new features such as hazard lamps.
The current Access 125 already offers a solid feature set, including turn-by-turn navigation, a USB charging port, and luggage hooks. The colour of the alloy wheels and seat varies depending on the variant. The scooter is available in four versions: Drum, Disc, Special Edition, and Ride Connect. Pricing for the Access 125 starts at Rs. 79,899 for the base drum, Rs 85,001 for the standard disc variant, Rs 86.802 for the Special Edition and Rs 90,500 for the top-spec Ride Connect Edition (All prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
The updated Access 125 is expected to retain its 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which delivers 8.7PS at 6,750 rpm and 10Nm at 5,500 rpm, paired with a CVT transmission. Suspension duties will likely remain unchanged with a telescopic fork and a single-spring setup.
Upon launch, the new Access 125 will continue to compete with the likes of the Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125 in the Indian market.
