When it first arrived, the Sierra’s 2-litre diesel engine offered respectable performance for its era. Tata Motors has confirmed that the new Sierra will offer both EV and ICE (internal combustion engine) options. The ICE version is expected to feature the brand’s new 1.5-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine, which delivers around 170 PS and 280 Nm, making it among the most powerful SUVs in the segment. Tata is also expected to launch it with a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which produces around 120 PS and 260 Nm. Both engines will be available with manual and automatic transmissions. 

In short, the Sierra’s spirit of performance and innovation continues, just evolved for today’s expectations and technologies, and refined to meet the emission norms.
