Tata Punch EV 2026 Review: Not Just A City EV Anymore

Tata Motors is a brand that took the lead when it comes to making EVs mainstream in India, and the automaker continues to rule the market despite new players coming in with competitive products. But from the wide portfolio of EVs that Tata offers, which ones are the best? Let’s take a look:

The latest offering from Tata Motors to arrive in our market, is the Punch EV facelift which brings with it a lot of features, classy styling and a compact footprint which could make it a popular choice especially among urban buyers. It gets a ‘tough’ look with muscular haunches, a connected LED taillamp cluster and reworked bumpers to keep it looking fresh and distinct.

Key feature highlights on the new Punch EV include ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electric sunroof, wireless charger and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets safety equipment such as 6 airbags, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera with blind view monitor and electronic parking brake with auto-hold.

Notably, Tata also offers a battery-as-a-service program with the Punch EV’s base Smart 30 variant, which is priced at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom) + Rs 2.6 per km.

With a unique coupe-SUV body style, the Curvv EV is Tata’s answer to other more conventionally-styled EV crossovers. With long range figures, radical design and lots of gadgetry, it is a quirky yet well-liked option in its segment.

The Curvv EV is equipped with features such as dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker JBL sound system, air purifier, powered tailgate, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 6-way powered driver seat. Tata’s Harrier nameplate has been a hit with SUV buyers ever since its launch 7 years ago, and last year the carmaker decided to give it the all-electric treatment with the Harrier EV. Known for its brutish styling, incredible performance figures and a practical interior, the flagship Tata EV is doing very good numbers for itself.

The feature list on the Harrier EV is extensive with a panoramic sunroof, 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, 10-speaker JBL Black sound system, 6-way powered driver and 4-way powered co-driver seat with ventilation, a digital IRVM, powered tailgate and an air purifier. The Tiago EV gets features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4-speaker sound system, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers and auto headlamps.
