The past week in the Indian car market was lively and buzzing with new unveils, reveal of two much anticipated Tata SUV coupes, unveiling of a Skoda Kodiaq rival, crash test results of an India-bound SUV, timeline revealed for the Mahindra Thar 5-door’s debut in India and an update for Hyundai’s micro-SUV. Tata Curvv And Curvv EV Revealed

Nissan X-Trail Revealed

Nissan has unveiled the fourth-generation X-Trail, which will be launched on our shores in the coming weeks. The SUV will be offered as a fully imported unit, and is expected to be priced upwards of Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai Exter CNG Gets An Update

2024 Mahindra Thar 5-door Debut Timeline

India-bound New Renault Duster Crash Tested By Euro NCAP

The third generation of the Renault Duster (Dacia Duster), which is expected to be launched in India in 2025, has been crash tested at Euro NCAP. It has scored an average 3-star rating, with a score of 28.1 out of 40 points for adult occupants safety and 41.6 out of 49 points for child occupant safety. Citroen Basalt To Debut In August 

Citroen will be unveiling the India-spec Basalt SUV coupe in August. It will rival the soon to launch Tata Curvv on our shores and also take on compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Porsche Macan EV Gets 2 New Variants, Introduced At Rs 1.22 crore 

Porsche has introduced new entry-level variants for the Macan EV, which now starts at Rs 1.22 crore (ex-showroom). The new base variant gets a 100 kWh battery pack paired with a single rear axle motor making 360 PS and 563 Nm. The new mid-spec Macan 4S variant produces 516 PS and 820 Nm. Kia EV6 Recalled 

Kia has officially recalled 1,138 units of the EV6, courtesy of a potential defect in the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU). Vehicles manufactured between March 3, 2022 and April 14, 2023 will be called back. Check out our story to know more. 

Skoda Sub-4m SUV Rear-end Design Teased
