The new Sierra retains the upright, boxy silhouette but modernises every surface. Leading the way is a full-width LED DRL and Bi-LED headlamps on higher trims. The SUV appears cleaner due to design elements such as flush-type door handles with welcome lighting, a hidden rear wiper, a wraparound glass effect, and a dual-tone roof that enhance its stance. You can also check out this story to know how the Sierra looks in real life.

Higher variants also receive 19-inch alloy wheels, sequential indicators, roof rails, and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate. Puddle lamps, the signature Sierra mascot, and cornering fog lamps are some of the other details that give this SUV an almost concept-car-like presence.

Inside, the Sierra is upscale and lounge-like, especially on higher variants. You get the triple-screen setup depending on the trim, a 12.3-inch passenger display, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a 12.3-inch display for the passenger. Then there is the added sense of space by the panoramic sunroof, which is available from the Pure+ upwards. The rear passengers get sunshades for reclining seats in a 60:40 split configuration, with even Boss Mode on higher trims.

The range-topping Accomplished+ takes entertainment to the next level thanks to the 12 JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, Harman AudioworX tuning, and 13 audio modes. Comfort aspects come in the form of ventilated front seats, a 6-way powered driver's seat with memory, wireless charging, and dual-zone climate control. Storage is intelligently provided through an umbrella holder, a cooled glovebox, and several USB-C fast chargers.

Safety has been a major focus: an SUV boasting six airbags as standard, while all-wheel disc brakes, a 21-feature ESP suite, hill ascent and descent control, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold are available across most trims.

Higher variants get ADAS Level 2 and ADAS 2+, offering as many as 22 active safety functions, which include adaptive cruise control with stop & go, blind spot view monitor, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, and many more. The 360-degree HD camera, along with the blind-spot system, is also available from the Adventure trim level onwards.
Tata's powertrain approach for the Sierra is simply no-nonsense flexibility: three engines and five gearboxes. The lineup covers a 106 PS 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol for relaxed old-school cruising, a punchier 160 PS 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol mated with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT for buyers wanting sharper responses, and a 118 PS 1.5-litre diesel making 260 Nm with the manual and 280 Nm with the 6-speed AT for torquey, real-world usability.
