Sunroof introduced with this new variant making it accessible
Gets the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 5-speed manual transmission.
Hyundai India has introduced a new variant for the Venue, namely S(O)+, which now makes the sunroof a more approachable feature in its line-up. It has been introduced at a price tag of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered with the naturally aspirated petrol engine. Here’s where it stacks in the Venue lineup:
|
Variant |
Prices (Ex-Showroom) |
|
NA Petrol S(O) |
Rs 9.89 lakh |
|
NA Petrol S(O) + |
Rs 10 lakh (New) |
|
Turbo Petrol - S(O) |

Based on the S(O) variant, the new Hyundai S(O) + commands a Rs 11,000 premium over it. Earlier, the sunroof option used to start from the turbo petrol manual transmission S(O) variants, but with the introduction of the new S(O)+ variant, the sunroof is now available in the naturally aspirated manual transmission version and also makes this feature more accessible by Rs 75,000.

The Hyundai Venue’s S(O) + variant has been introduced with its 83 PS 1.2-litre Kappa naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a manual transmission. It also gets niceties like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi- digital driver’s instrument cluster, automatic headlamps with LED projectors, keyless entry, rear AC vents, and height adjustable driver’s seat. On the safety front, it packs in 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill assist, seatbelt reminder for all occupants, ISOFIX child seat mounts and tyre pressure monitoring system.

The Hyundai Venue is priced from Rs 7.94 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 13.43 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals other subcompact SUVs like the Maruti Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
