The compact SUV space remains competitive, and the 2025 Hyundai Venue arrives with a round of updates aimed at keeping it relevant. With improvements in comfort, feature set, and overall package, it builds upon what buyers already appreciated about the sub-4m SUV. In this report, we dive into five things that stand out in the updated Venue.
One of the biggest wins with the 2025 Venue is how well it settles over uneven surfaces. Hyundai has revised the dimensions, making it 30 mm wider and 48 mm taller, which helps it feel more planted on rough roads.
The suspension setup continues to strike a good balance between firmness and comfort, allowing it to absorb bumps and broken patches with ease. Inside, occupants experience decent isolation from most road imperfections, and the seats offer adequate support for longer journeys.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue continues to offer multiple powertrain choices, catering to different driving needs. The engine lineup includes a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 83 PS and 115 Nm, a 1-litre turbo-petrol delivering 120 PS and 172 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel that generates 116 PS and 250 Nm.
Transmission options include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and 6-speed automatic transmission, depending on the engine choice you pick. Notably, the HX5 variant is the only one to offer all engine and transmission combinations in the 2025 Venue lineup, giving it a broader appeal.

Often, the most convenience features are reserved for the higher-spec trims of a car. However, the 2025 Venue breaks from that trend to some extent. The low to mid-spec variants, particularly the HX4 and HX5, come with a notable set of features that enhance the overall ownership experience.
The former gets a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, a semi-digital driver’s display, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a reverse parking camera. The latter additionally includes a single-pane sunroof, front armrest with storage, cruise control, and remote engine start.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue receives several updates. Most notable additions include dual 12.3-inch displays (one for the infotainment and one for the driver’s display), ventilated front-row seats, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, and Level-2 ADAS.

The Venue’s interior has received noticeable improvements in design and perceived quality. The new dark navy and dove grey dual-tone interior theme, along with refined materials, gives Venue's cabin a more cohesive and mature feel.
The slightly larger dimensions have also resulted in better shoulder room, additional headroom, and easier ingress and egress. The 2025 Venue offers a more premium and refined cabin experience while maintaining its focus on functionality.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue refines its overall package with updates across design, comfort, features, and drivetrain options. Its refreshed interior, expanded feature list, and multiple powertrain choices help it maintain its appeal in the increasingly competitive compact-SUV space. The updates with the 2025 Venue make it a more well-balanced offering.
