Facelifted Kia Seltos spotted testing once again.
New images reveal dual exhaust tips and sequential turn indicators.
ADAS and heated seats could be amongst the new feature additions.
New compact SUV could get the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol powertrain.
Prices are expected to be announced by mid-2023.
The Kia Seltos is due for a facelift in India and these spy shots that keep surfacing now and again aren’t helping curb our eagerness. The latest video which has surfaced online, reveals two new styling details of the upcoming compact SUV ahead of its launch.

The surfaced video predominantly shows the rear end of the test mule and thereby the split exhaust tips, which will be a first for the compact SUV. What it also does is hint at the possibility of Kia offering the car with Hyundai’s new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol power unit.

Another notable feature at the tail of the compact SUV is the sequential turn indicator setup on the LED taillights, which are likely connected by a light bar. Previous spy shots and the already revealed facelifted global model hint at a redesigned grille, new elements for the LED headlights and fresh DRLs as well.

Images of the India-spec model’s interior are yet to surface, but going by the overseas model, expect a revised dashboard with integrated dual 10.25-inch screens. Kia should build on its feature-rich philosophy and add new features in the Seltos, like a panoramic sunroof and heated seats. ADAS is also expected to be amongst the new additions, given that a previous test mule had a designated squarish-gap in its camouflage situated bang in the middle of the grille.

We expect the facelifted Seltos to feature the 115PS, 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options from the outgoing model, while a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor could be offered in place of the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol powertrain which was recently discontinued from the existing lineup for reasons known only to Kia.

The facelift will undoubtedly carry a premium over the existing Seltos, which is sold between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom). With the facelift, the Seltos will make a more compelling argument for itself against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq.
