Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Simple Energy has reported a strong performance in FY2025-26 so far, exceeding its entire FY2024-25 revenue by over 125% as of October. The company recorded 1,050 unit registrations in October 2025, its best month yet, as per the Vahan portal. While GST rates for EVs remained unchanged, the segment witnessed pretty strong demand due to the festive season, which could be one of the reasons for Simple’s sales surge.
The current portfolio includes the Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS, both launched in 2025. They offer IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) ranges of 248km and 181km, respectively. Also in September 2025, Simple became India’s first OEM to produce rare-earth-free motors in-house.

To meet the uptick in demand, Simple increased production by 40% at its 2,00,000 sq. ft. facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The company also plans to scale to 150 retail stores and service centres by March 2026.
It currently operates 61 outlets across major cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, and Jaipur. Expanding reach is extremely crucial for a young brand like SImple, so it’s now preparing to enter Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar in the coming months.

With rising sales, expanded capacity, and new markets on the horizon, Simple is simply positioning itself for growth in India’s competitive sporty electric scooter segment.
