These spy shots also give us a clearer look at the facelifted XUV300's cabin, which features the XUV400 EV’S 10.25 inch touchscreen

The Mahindra XUV300 facelift has once again been spotted testing. This time, we get to see three variants of the 2024 XUV300 being tested. The XUV300 sits in a competitive segment with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and the Maruti Brezza. With all its rivals getting facelifts and updates, to keep up with the rivals, Mahindra will be updating its sub-compact SUV offering. This upcoming update will also feature interior changes, improving the cabin experience of the XUV300.

Here's what we have observed from these spy shots of the different variants of the XUV300:

Base Variant

The Mahindra XUV300 facelift’s base model has been spied along with the mid and top variants. We can observe that Mahindra has not offered body-coloured ORVMs for the base variant and the steel wheels get basic conventional wheel covers. The base variant will more or less offer the same features that the current XUV300 offers in the base iteration. However, we might get to see a couple of tweaks here and there.

Mid Variant

The mid trims of the facelifted XUV300 get the body-colored ORVMs over the base variants. However, it misses out on alloy wheels and instead, comes with stylised steel wheels that look like alloys from a distance, a design touch that isn’t available in the current model.

The upcoming XUV300 can be seen with rear disc brakes offered on the top-spec variant, as well as dual-tone alloy wheels to enhance the look of the compact SUV. We can also notice roof rails as an addition over the mid trim of the sub-compact SUV.

Moving to the interior, a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the XUV400 EV can be seen, which is the primary highlight from these spy shots! Chances are that the facelifted XUV300 will also get the XUV400 EV’s 10.25 inch digital driver display and other new features, details of which can be found here

The Mahindra XUV300 facelift, with the addition of the extra features and upgrades, is likely to see a price hike over the current XUV300, which starts from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted XUV300, with the addition of the extra features will surely attract buyers, and lock horns with the likes of Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and the Maruti Brezza. We are also about to see Skoda’s sub-compact SUV enter the already competitive segment by next year.
