The XUV 3XO EV builds on the success of the petrol and diesel-powered XUV 3XO, bringing electric mobility into an attractive, urban-friendly package. In terms of design, the EV largely mirrors its ICE sibling but adds subtle EV-specific cues like copper-finished badges and accents.
Up front, you get a slim faux body-coloured grille flanked by hexagonal LED headlamps with ‘C-shaped’ DRLs, while the bumper features a faux silver skid plate. The side profile remains muscular with pronounced wheel arches and rides on up to 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the connected LED tail-lamp strip and chunky cladding give it a well-planted stance.

Inside, the cabin feels premium and modern, with soft-touch materials and a clean dashboard layout. A free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage, paired with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster.

Importantly, Mahindra has retained physical controls for key functions like climate control, making the cabin user-friendly. The EV also gets a gear lever for the drive selector, differentiating it from the ICE version, but similar to what we have seen on the XUV400.
Mahindra has gone heavy on equipment, especially for the top-spec AX7L variant. Feature highlights include a 360-degree camera, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio with Dolby Atmos, 65W Type-C charger, wireless charging and keyless entry.

On the safety front, the XUV 3XO EV offers a comprehensive suite including Level-2 ADAS, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, and TPMS, making it one of the best-equipped EVs in its class.
It basically mirrors the features and safety suite from its ICE-counterpart.
Powering the XUV 3XO EV is a 39.4 kWh battery pack, paired with an electric motor producing 150 PS and 310 Nm. Mahindra claims a real-world range of up to 285 km, positioning it as a practical option for daily urban commutes.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is offered in two variants:
AX5: Rs 13.89 lakh
AX7L: Rs 14.96 lakh
In terms of competition, it goes up against the MG Windsor EV, the Tata Nexon EV, the Tata Punch EV and the Citroen eC3.
Note: All prices ex-showroom excluding charger
With competitive pricing, a solid real-world range, and a feature list that wouldn’t look out of place in a larger SUV, the XUV 3XO EV makes a strong case for itself. Deliveries are set to begin soon, and given Mahindra’s track record with popular launches, waiting periods could stretch quickly. If you’re serious about making the switch to electric, it might be wise to book early.
