The Carens Clavis is the facelifted version of the Carens, and builds upon the latter's strong sales success in the mass-market MPV segment. In terms of styling, it follows Kia’s latest design philosophy with tri-LED headlamps and a faux silver skid plate at the front. Move on to the side profile and we get to see 17-inch crystal cut alloy wheels and silver roof rails.

Towards the rear, it comes with new connected taillamp cluster with a ‘clear-lens’ effect and a faux silver skid plate at the bottom.

As for the equipment, the top-spec model gets features such as a panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3--inch screens for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, 64-colour ambient lighting, wireless charger and ventilated front seats. Safety-wise, it gets a Level 2 ADAS suite along with 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system as well as front and rear parking sensors.

Competition for the Carens Clavis comes in the form of cars like the Maruti Ertiga and XL6, Toyota Rumion and Toyota Innova Crysta.
Kia’s Carens Clavis has turned out to be a popular model in the MPV segment, with its wide range of powertrain options, long list of features and a sharp and modern design language. This new variant will help add appeal and make these features more accessible to buyers on a budget.
