Asia’s largest gathering of bikers returns to Goa after three years

If you consider bikes, beaches and beers as the holy trinity of motorcycling culture, then riding to Goa is a no-brainer. And after three long years, India Bike Week (IBW), arguably Asia’s biggest gathering of bikers, is returning to Goa for a weekend of pure motoring fun! Here's a quick glance at what all you can expect at the 8th edition of IBW on December 2nd and 3rd.

Race & Ride

‘Wheels’ and ‘waves’ are a mood, both echoing a sense of freedom. The folks at IBW ‘22 will be setting up five different race tracks for you. Participate in a range of off-road races over the weekend and claim those bragging rights. From hill-climbs to flat track, to motocross, to enduro – attend master classes, learn from top instructors and go flat out for that top step this year.

Another really interesting thing you could do this year is explore the hidden pockets of Goa by signing up for guided day rides. Under the expert guidance of folks like Goa Motorcycling Club and Chef Marlon, explore off-beat trails, hip parties and cuisine of Goa. No more – “Yaar jaana kaha hai?”

A festival like IBW celebrates motorcycling and motorcyclists alike. This year, like every year, you have the opportunity to interact and engage with renowned members of the biking community. Chaps like Shardul Sharma (India’s first Red Bull Romaniac), vlogger Murtaza Junaid, custom bike builder Yogi Chabaria, and Marco Rosetto (founder Mini GP India) will all be there, so get those questions ready!

Entertainment and Merchandise

It’s a festival, so jamming to live music is a given. With top artists like Easy Wanderlings & DJ Mojo Jo Jo attending, it should be a pretty lit weekend. The folks at IBW will also host Red Bull’s freestyle rappers, MCs, BMX stunt riders and breakdancers to amp up the energy.

Also make sure to check out a wide variety of stalls selling cool merch, apparel and services, celebrating that ‘moto life’.

Fooood!!!

There’s a lot of food to be explored.

Make sure to check out “The Big Forkers Meat Fest”, a corner being dedicated to one thing and one thing only, barbecuing varied meats of India. Led by renowned chefs from Canada, Nagaland, Goa, Kerala and more, this festival can be just about the food, man!

So, there’s a lot to cover over a period of two days and needless to say, bring your comfy, stretchy pants along.
