Here’s How You Can Configure The Nissan X-Trail’s Seating In 16 Different Layouts

The Nissan X-Trail is all set to mark its entry again in India in its fourth-gen avatar rivaling premium full size SUVs in the market like the Jeep Meridian and Skoda Kodiaq. The Nissan X-Trail gets 40:20:40 split second row seats and 50:50 split third row seats. As seen in the reel,this flexibility opens up multiple ways in which the seating layout can be changed to suit one's requirements and preferences.

Now Nissan claims 16 different layouts, but we could only figure out 13 ways to do so. Can you figure out the remaining three possible setups? Let us know in the comments if you can!

Nissan X-Trail: Features On Board

Nissan X-Trail’s features include a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, automatic headlamps, automatic rain-sensing wipers, electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, cruise control and even paddle shifters. 

The safety tech includes 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, traction control and a 360-degree surround view camera with front and rear parking sensors. 

Nissan X-Trail: Powertrain

The Nissan X-Trail entering our country will be powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which is paired to a 12V mild-hybrid system for additional torque boost and produces 163 PS and 300 Nm. This engine is mated to a shift-by-wire CVT transmission. It is driven via the front wheels only.

Nissan X-Trail: Price And Rivals

We expect Nissan to introduce the X-Trail at a starting price of around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It will rival other premium SUVs in the segment like the Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq and Toyota Fortuner.
