With multiple split and folding seat options, the Nissan X-Trail’s interiors can be configured in various ways depending upon your requirements.

The Nissan X-Trail is all set to mark its entry again in India in its fourth-gen avatar rivaling premium full size SUVs in the market like the Jeep Meridian and Skoda Kodiaq. Before the official launch on August 1, let's take a look at the different seating configurations as shown in the reel below!

The Nissan X-Trail gets 40:20:40 split second row seats and 50:50 split third row seats. As seen in the reel,this flexibility opens up multiple ways in which the seating layout can be changed to suit one's requirements and preferences.

The safety tech includes 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, traction control and a 360-degree surround view camera with front and rear parking sensors.

The Nissan X-Trail entering our country will be powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which is paired to a 12V mild-hybrid system for additional torque boost and produces 163 PS and 300 Nm. This engine is mated to a shift-by-wire CVT transmission. It is driven via the front wheels only.

We expect Nissan to introduce the X-Trail at a starting price of around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It will rival other premium SUVs in the segment like the Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq and Toyota Fortuner.
