Nissan has made a comeback in the premium SUV segment in India with the launch of the fourth-gen X-Trail, priced at Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in a single fully-loaded variant, the X-Trail comes to India as a fully imported variant and that’s why its hefty price tag. And if you intend to accessorise the X-Trail, be ready for a shock as Nissan has priced the X-Trail’s accessories significantly high.
If you're considering adding them, take a look at all the exterior and interior accessories of the 2024 X-Trail, along with their pricing.

Front and rear mud guard |
Rs 14,383 |
Luggage entry guard |
Rs 10,824 |

Side window deflector |

Total |
Rs 1,57,662 |
Since the 2024 X-Trail is brought to our shores as a CBU (completely built-up), its price tag is acceptable, but the cost of its accessories is way steeper than usual. For instance, a set of mudguards is priced at Rs 14,383. Given the X-Trail's size and its off-road capabilities, you might consider adding mudguards. However, their high price could make you rethink this decision.
And that's not all. Given the X-Trail's taller stance, you might consider adding side steps for easier ingress and egress, especially if you have elderly people in your family. However, they are priced at a whopping Rs 65,690. Additionally, if you want to add some niceties to your X-Trail, the illuminated door sills will set you back Rs 39,750. And do note that these prices do not include fitment charges, so you'll need to shell extra for labour costs, which is bizzare!
We surely think Nissan could have priced the accessories more reasonably to enhance the customer buying experience, especially since they are offering only two models in their entire portfolio.
The 2024 Nissan X-Trail is offered with 163 PS 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine option, paired with a 12 V mild-hybrid system. It is mated to an e-CVT automatic transmission and comes equipped with a front-wheel drivetrain.
Features-wise, the X-Trail gets a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry with push-button start/ stop, and cruise control. Safety features include seven airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera.
