Explore The New Maruti Dzire’s Mid-spec Vxi Variant In 10 Images

The 2024 Maruti Dzire has been launched in four different variants, 7 colour options including 3 new ones and two powertrain options including both petrol and CNG to choose from. The new Dzire’s four variants follow the brand’s nomenclature and are named Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Zxi+ variants.

As seen above, prices for the Dzire Vxi variant range from Rs 7.79 lakh to Rs 8.74 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Maruti Dzire Vxi: Design

The fascia of the Dzire Vxi sports the new wide grille, with a chrome strip connecting the projector halogen headlamps. Higher-spec variants come with LED headlights, LED DRLs and LED fog lamps.  

It sits on 14-inch steel wheels which come with a cover. Over the base-spec Lxi variant, you get body-coloured ORVMs and door handles in this variant and you even get ORVM-mounted turn indicators. However, the Vxi variant misses out on the chrome finish running across the window line. 

Moving on to the rear, the Vxi variant brings in a chrome strip that connects the Y-shaped LED tail lights. It sports a shark fin antenna and an integrated lip spoiler which is standard across all variants.  

From the Vxi variant onwards, you get to choose from all seven colour options of the Dzire. These options include Gallant Red, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, Bluish Black, Arctic White, Magma Grey, and Splendid Silver.

Maruti Dzire Vxi: Interior And Features

Step inside and you will notice that the dashboard design and layout of the new Dzire is similar to that of the new Swift, but comes with a standard dualtone black and beige theme. The Vxi variant introduces a music system which makes this variant an even more worthy alternative to the base-spec variant. 

You also get silver and chrome accents in the cabin from this variant onwards, but it misses out on the wooden finish on the dashboard that is available from the Zxi variant. Another key addition to the interior is the presence of a centre armrest with cup holders for the rear seat passengers. 

In terms of equipment, the Vxi is much better equipped than the variant below it. It comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, steering-mounted audio controls, 4 speakers, manual AC with rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs, adjustable front and rear headrests, USB charging ports and tilt-adjustable steering. 

In terms of safety, it comes with 6 airbags (standard), ABS with EBD, ESC, reverse parking sensors, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a rear defogger. A 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are available with higher-spec variants. 

Maruti Dzire Vxi: Powertrain

The mid-spec Dzire comes with the new Z-series 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine which generates 82 PS and 112 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and AMT. You can also opt for a factory-fitted CNG kit, but with that, the output reduces to 70 PS and 102 Nm. The CNG option is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. 

Maruti Dzire: Price And Rivals 

The Maruti Dzire is priced between Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals entry-level sedans like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura and the Tata Tigor.
