Ducati India will be launching three all-new variants of the 800cc Scrambler--the Icon, the Icon Dark and the Desert Sled--tomorrow. These are part of the 12-bike fleet that Ducati has planned for India in 2021. The manufacturer had started accepting bookings for these models in the first week of January 2021 for Rs. 50,000.

While all of them are roughly similar to each other, the base model of the three is the Scrambler Icon Dark. It gets a blacked-out design, a matte colour scheme and black cylinder heads with brushed aluminium fins.

The Icon, the sober one of the lot, gets a new Ducati Red colour option in addition to the iconic yellow.

Like the Icon, the Scrambler Desert Sled also boasts of a new colour scheme for 2021. The new Sparkling Blue livery is enriched with red and white details along with a black frame and golden rims. According to Ducati, this livery pays homage to the enduro bikes of the 80s. A brand new seat is also part of the package.

All three models use the same BS6-compliant 803cc, L-Twin, air-cooled, Desmodromic motor generating 73PS at 8250rpm and 66.2Nm at 5750rpm.

Ducati also recently showcased the Scrambler Nightshift, which will soon make its way to Indian shores as well, at its World Premiere. The Scrambler Nightshift boasts of a new ‘Aviator Grey’ colour scheme, spoked wheels, and a flat handlebar with swanky bar-end mirrors which make it one-of-a-kind.

The story gets even better for the second half of 2021 as Ducati has its top-of-the-line bikes like the Streetfighter V4, Panigale V4 and Multistrada V4 planned for us. It’s safe to say that Ducati is planning on keeping us very excited and busy in 2021.
