Diwali is a festival of lights, but it’s also become a festival of loud noises and firecrackers that go BOOM! So to celebrate the latter, we’ve come up with a list of firecracker machines that go BOOM and also make your heart light up. We apologise in advance for any puns (intended or otherwise). Also, this list is just purely alphabetical, as we love each and every one of them equally, like unbiased parents.

Ducati Panigale V4

When it comes to superbikes, you cannot get any better than the Ducati Panigale V4; it is ‘The Apex Predator’. Whether you’re tearing up a racetrack or blazing down an open stretch of road, this Italian beast delivers pure, unfiltered adrenaline much like a big firecracker ready to make the loudest bang imaginable. Its 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine produces a blistering 216 PS straight from the factory! Giving it a power-to-weight ratio which will even put million-dollar supercars to shame.

As for the electronics, it packs every aid imaginable on a motorcycle. In fact, it gets tech derives straight from MotoGP! Much like a Diwali firecracker, the Panigale V4 is all about explosive energy and dazzling brilliance, ready to light up the roads the moment you twist the throttle without showing any mercy whatsoever!

Lamborghini Temerario

A twin-turbocharged V8 engine revving to up to 10,000 rpm is nothing short of insane and a recipe for one of the most sonorous firecracker machines to exist in the market currently. Plonking this athletic V8 in a Lamborghini ensures you also have visual appeal to match the aural drama.

Oh, don’t forget this 4-litre V8 baby Lambo is also keen on saving the environment, as it comes with a plug-in hybrid system. Lamborghini wants to have a green Diwali! Combined, there’s over 900 PS on offer, has three electric motors and an electric-only range that’ll allow you to turn on the monstrous engine away from your neighbours.

A thumping 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged sourced from BMW, a loud exhaust with quad tailpipes and an off-road-specific suspension that’ll put purpose-built rally cars and off-roaders to shame, that’s the Defender Octa

Oh, and you can take your kids to school in it without feeling like you’re in a rugged SUV. Now this car is built to take on terrains you’ve never thought even existed and celebrate Diwali in a place where it’s just you, some firecrackers, some diyas and candles and have a serene, off-the-grid scene.

Mercedes-AMG GT 4 Door Coupe

We gave you two options to celebrate Diwali with cars. One involves you sneaking out of your neighbourhood to celebrate, the other involves you going off-grid for it. But what if you wanted to take along three more folks with you and create a ruckus with a loud and burly twin-turbo V8 engine?

Mercedes-Benz’s skunkworks division has taken the AMG GT and elongated it to make it a 4-door coupe, a modern-day take on the CLS-Class that 4-door coupe trend. The 4-litre twin-turbo V8 may not sound as epic as the 6.2-litre naturally aspirated one from the olden days, but it’ll get your senses tingling, alright.

Suzuki Hayabusa

The Suzuki Hayabusa, named after the Peregrine Falcon, the fastest bird on Earth, redefined speed when it first launched back in 1999. Once the fastest production motorcycle in the world, it became instantly recognisable for its wind-tunnel-sculpted body, and it was this machine that made manufacturers agree on the 300 kmph top-speed limit.

Now in its third generation, the ‘Busa’ continues to blend brute power with refined performance and everyday usability. In fact, it remains one of the easiest superbikes to live with on a daily basis. Much like the sparkle of Diwali lights, the Hayabusa has an aura that never fades. A true symbol of power, legacy, and celebration of speed. In India, its cult status exploded after Dhoom, and even today, the “Dhoom bike” shines as bright as a festive rocket lighting up the night sky.
