KTM India has launched the 2024 200 Duke starting at a price of Rs 2,03,412 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike has undergone a substantial update to its features, thanks to the addition of the same 5-inch TFT display as on the 3rd Gen KTM 390 Duke.
What’s New?
The main difference between the previous generation Duke 200 and the new Duke 200 is the addition of the 5-inch TFT display, from the 3rd Gen 390 Duke, along with the same 4-way menu switches mounted on the left hand side of the switchgear.
The display offers smartphone connectivity via the KTM connect app bringing many new features to the table such as:
-
Turn-by-turn navigation
-
Call alerts with the ability to accept or reject via the mode button on the switchgear
-
Helmet headset pairing which allows rider the ability to control music selection while on the go
-
Two display modes with a dark and an orange theme
Along with this, the bike now comes with a new colour scheme called Metallic Silver. The colour scheme is similar to the Metallic Silver paint scheme which was discontinued a few months back.
What Remains Unchanged?
Other than the addition of the new console, the rest of the bike remains the same. The 200 Duke is still powered by the same 199.5cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 25PS and 19.3Nm.
The bike is built on the same tubular split trellis frame, and features a suspension setup that comprises a 43mm inverted fork and 10-step adjustable monoshock. The bike gets 17-inch alloys at both ends, with a 110-section front and 150-section rear tyre.
The braking setup consists of a 300mm front and 230mm rear disc with dual channel ABS. Electronic riding aids include Supermoto ABS, which switches off the rear wheel ABS.
ZigSays
The addition of these new features is a welcome change and the price of the new KTM 200 Duke has gone up Rs 4,462. The premium is reasonable given the addition of the more premium looking console from the 3rd Gen KTM 390 Duke and the amount of features offered.
the automobile community
KTM bringing back the Metallic Silver colour scheme is something we appreciate. This colour scheme was one of the best that KTM had to offer and will be a good choice for people who are looking to get something other than Black and Orange.
