Bajaj CNG Bike Spotted Testing Again: Headlight, And Other Details Revealed

(Update: Here’s our analysis on what we know so far about the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike.)

It looks like the Bajaj CNG bike’s launch is drawing nearer as the bike has spotted testing again, which is its second sighting in eight days. 

This time around, we can see from the images that it gets a sloper-like engine to keep the heat away from the tank. The engine capacity will probably be between 110-125cc. The boxy headlight is likely to be an LED unit, whereas the inidcators are bulb. The tail light looks sleek and could be an LED too. Other details include a braced handlebar with handguards, mid-set footpegs, a compact engine guard, belly pan, single-piece grab rail, alloy wheels and slightly upswept stubby exhaust. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The bike comes with a front disc and rear drum brake setup. The absence of the ABS sensor ring confirms that the displacement will be of 125cc or lesser. This is because as per the safety norms, two-wheelers with displacement less than 125cc will require only CBS and not ABS.

The upcoming Bajaj CNG bike will be launched between April and June 2024 and will probably get a price tag of about Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom). It won’t have any direct rivals but will rival fuel-efficient 110cc bikes such as the Hero Splendor Plus, TVS Radeon, Honda Shine 100 and the Bajaj Platina 110.
