Prices start at Rs 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom)
Starting with the base AX variant, it is offered with both diesel and petrol engine options with a 7-seater seat configuration. However, this variant is limited only to manual transmissions in both engines, with no automatic transmission on offer.
Prices start at Rs 16.02 lakh (ex-showroom)
The AX3 variant is just one above the base variant, and right from this variant, you get options of both manual and automatic transmission options on both diesel and petrol engines. The seat configuration on this trim is fixed to 7 seats only.

Prices start at Rs 17.52 lakh (ex-showroom)
The AX5 can be considered as the mid-variant in the XUV 7XO’s lineup. This variant is also offered with both the diesel and petrol engine options. Buyers can choose from the transmission of their choice, as both manual and automatic transmissions are available. However, this variant is available with a 7-seat configuration only.

Prices start at Rs 18.48 lakh (ex-showroom)
The powertrain options on the AX7 variant have no different story; both the diesel and petrol engines are available with manual and automatic transmission options. Seating configuration remains fixed at 7-seats.
Prices start at Rs 20.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
The AX7 Tech variant is just one variant below the top, and is available with both diesel and petrol engine options. Buyers also get the choice to choose between 6 or 7-seater configurations.

Starting with the petrol engine first, it is exclusively available with an automatic transmission. The diesel engine is available in both manual and automatic transmissions. AWD is also available with the diesel engine, but that sticks to the automatic transmission with the 7-seater configuration only.
Prices start at Rs 22.47 lakh (ex-showroom)
The powertrain lineup on the top-of-the-line AX7 Luxury variant is very similar to that seen on the AX7 Tech. Both petrol and diesel engines are available, with the petrol engine being only offered with an automatic transmission.

The only difference here is that the diesel manual variant is available only with the 7-seater configuration model. Everything else remains exactly the same. AWD is also offered in the diesel 7-seater automatic transmission version.
Mahindra has launched the XUV 7XO at an introductory price of Rs 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered across 6 variants. The prices top at Rs 24.11 lakh (ex-showroom). Automatic transmission variants are available at an additional price of 1.45 lakh. AWD is offered on top-of-the-line diesel variants at an additional cost of 2.45 lakh. These prices are valid for the first 40,000 units only. Test drives for the new XUV 7XO will start from January 8, 2026, while deliveries are set to begin from January 14, 2026.

The Mahindra XUV 7XO continues to stay in a segment with popular rivals like the Jeep Compass, the Tata Safari and Harrier, the recently updated MG Hector, and the Hyundai Alcazar.
Mahindra’s approach with the XUV 7XO makes the variant-powertrain game stronger than what we have seen in this segment. It is the cheapest offering in the segment. You’re no longer choosing variants just for features (which are quite well segregated), but genuinely picking the engine and gearbox that suit your driving style and budget.
Mahindra has made sure that there is an XUV 7XO available for all types of buyers, whether you want efficiency, everyday usability, or strong performance. The lineup has been laid out with precision.
