2025 Triumph Trident 660 teased on Triumph’s social media channels in India
Will get more features, such as cornering ABS and cruise control, as standard
Expected to be priced the same as before
The Triumph Trident 660 has always been a bike that flies under the radar due to its deceivingly small stature and design language which one could mistake for a Speed 400. That said, it has always been a fun and engaging bike to ride due to its light kerb weight and a potent 660cc inline-three engine. But, the motorcycle always lacked in one aspect: its feature list. Triumph is all set to solve this issue in the upcoming 2025 Trident and has teased the bike on its social media handles in India.
While the Triumph Trident 660 was never super rich in features, it had all the basics covered such as dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control and two ride modes: Road and Rain. The upcoming bike will get features such as cornering ABS and traction control, cruise control and a new ‘Sport’ riding mode. The bits that were earlier optional will be available as standard in the 2025 bike, such as smartphone connectivity and a bidirectional quickshifter. Apart from these changes, the motorcycle is expected to make the same amount of power and torque.

Currently priced at Rs 8,12,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), we expect the 2025 Trident to be priced the same as the outgoing model. Wondering what makes us speculate this? Well, it’s because the updated model, which is sold in the United Kingdom, costs the same as the 2024 model.

It was high time that Triumph updated the Trident 660 with some features, as bikes way below its segment now come with the aforementioned goodies as standard. These updates should make the motorcycle a lot more well-rounded than before. It’s all the more important for Triumph to keep the pricing of the 2025 model competitive, as it will continue to be the most affordable big bike from Triumph in India.
