Honda recently launched the 2025 SP160, a premium commuter offering. The bike has now undergone a few updates including the addition of a handful of new features. In this article we will be going over the new features and giving you a detailed breakdown.
The first change is of course, the addition of a new instrument console. The new console is a 5-inch TFT unit with smartphone connectivity. Earlier the bike used to come with a simple LCD console. Now with the addition of the new TFT console, the premium quotient has definitely gone up. Other than this, the smartphone connectivity feature has opened up a lot more related bits like turn-by-turn navigation.
One of the most important features the bike now offers thanks to the new console is the turn-by-turn navigation. This is particularly helpful when you are riding in the city and are trying to find your way. Riders can turn on navigation via Honda’s dedicated RideSync mobile application for the same. Compared to the rivals, now the SP160 is a lot more competitive thanks to this update.
Along with turn-by-turn navigation, the bike also gets voice assist. This is a feature we have seen on Honda’s higher capacity offerings like the Honda CB350. The voice assist can be accessed via the Honda RideSync application for mobile. Overall, the addition of voice assist really does elevate the riding experience.
Lastly, the bike has a dedicated USB type-c charger which is a neat addition. The charger is quite convenient and will be helpful if you are looking to charge your phone on the go.Overall, the updates are quite nice and really do make a difference. The Honda SP160 was a good proposition before, but it wasn’t able to stand out when compared to its rivals. But now with the updates, getting the SP160 makes more sense.

The bike is offered in 2 variants, the single disc variant costs Rs 1,21,951 and the dual-disc variant costs Rs 1,27,956. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
