2024 Maruti Dzire: First CLEAR Look Without Camouflage Ahead Of November 11 Launch

Up until now we only had camouflaged spy shots of the 2024 Dzire. However, a video has surfaced online revealing the upcoming Dzire’s design  in full without camouflage ahead of its launch on November 11, 2024. The new Dzire will look completely different from the outgoing model or even its hatchback counterpart, the Swift. Apart from design changes, the Dzire will be updated with plenty of new features and we expect to get a new Swift-like design and layout for the dashboard.

2024 Maruti Dzire: Design 

The latest spy shots reveal the 2024 Dzire’s new fascia which features a large grille with many horizontal slats giving it a beefed up and wider appearance. The LED headlights are sleeker now and they house vertical lighting elements.The bumper has been styled aggressively, giving the fascia a sporty touch. 

We can also spot a new design for the dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear features a shark fin antenna which adds a hint of sportiness to the mass market sedan. The LED tail lights get a new Y-shape signature and are connected by a chrome strip running across the width of the boot. 

Similar to what they did with the Swift, we expect Maruti to offer new colour options with the 2024 Dzire. 

2024 Maruti Dzire: Interior And Features 

The interior of the new Dzire was not revealed in the leaked video. However, we can expect the dashboard design and layout to be similar to that of the 2024 Swift. The Swift gets a dark theme for the cabin, but with the Dzire, you can expect a dual-tone black and beige interior scheme. 

The spy shots reveal a camera on the ORVM, indicating that the Dzire could get a 360-degree camera. Also, earlier spy videos have confirmed the presence of a segment-first sunroof. Other features that Maruti could offer with the Dzire include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, and automatic climate control with rear AC vents.

Passenger safety will likely be taken care of by 6 airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors. 

2024 Maruti Dzire: Powertain

The new Dzire is expected to be powered by the new Swift-sourced Z-series 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, churning out an output of 82 PS and 112 Nm. Transmission options will include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. Later on, you can expect Maruti to offer it with a factory-fitted CNG kit as well. 

2024 Maruti Dzire: Price And Rivals 

The 2024 Maruti Dzire is expected to be priced from around Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with other entry-level sedans like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
