Early Bird Buyers Of BYD Atto 3 Will Get These Promotional Offers

• The Atto 3 is an EV with 521km range (ARAI-tested), premium features and ADAS. 

• It has a powerful 204PS e-motor and fast-charging capabilities. 

• BYD is offering a ‘Promotional Package’ with free equipment and services for early bird customers. 

• Price reveal in December, likely to start at Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). 

The BYD Atto 3 has made its India debut and is available to book for Rs 50,000. For a limited time, the carmaker will provide a home charger and other equipment, subscriptions and services under a bundled ‘Promotional Package’. The SUV’s prices will be announced in December and the first batch of 500 EVs is set to be delivered in January 2023.    

What does the Atto 3’s Promotional Package offer?

To attract buyers to its first electric SUV in India, BYD is offering a solid package that includes: 

• A 7kW home wall box charger, with free installation, that can charge the Atto 3 in 9.5-10 hours.  

• Portable 3kW charging box to power appliances and smaller EVs (such as e-bikes) with the Atto 3. 

• Three years of free 4G mobile data for the navigation system. 

• Road-side assistance (RSA) for six years. 

• Free maintenance for six services, only applicable on the labour cost. 

Keep in mind that these offers are for a limited time only. The home charger and portable charger are not provided as standard on the SUV and will likely be sold separately later on. 

BYD Atto 3 warranty 

In addition to the above-mentioned promotional benefits, all Atto 3 SUVs will get an eight-year/1.6 lakh km warranty for the battery, eight-year/1.5 lakh km warranty for the e-motor and controller; and six-year/1.5 lakh km warranty for the vehicle and most of its components. 

This standard warranty doesn’t include the infotainment system, TPMS, headlights and taillights, suspension components, bearings and charging port assemblies, which are covered under a separate warranty for up to three years or 1.25 lakh km, whichever first. 

Lubricants and refrigerants are considered consumables and aren’t covered under warranty, but interestingly, the tyres, bushings, gaskets and 12-volt battery are covered for up to one year or 20,000km.
