Price: Price: The Yamaha MT 15 V2 is priced from Rs 1.69 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It has two variants.
Design: Design: The Yamaha MT-15 V2’s styling is in sync with the brand’s MT range of bikes. That said, it’s unchanged ever since it was launched. It has a single-pod projector LED headlight with two slanted LED DRLs – all of which look like a humanoid face. Its fuel tank has protrusions that look like air-intakes, but aren’t. It has golden-colour fork stanchions that give the bike a premium look. The design of the bike looks cohesive, however the pillion grab rails might look a bit odd to some.
Features: Features: The Yamaha MT-15 V2 has an LED DRLs, LED projector headlight and tail light. While the base variant gets an LCD console, the top-variant has a TFT console. Both have smartphone connectivity, however, the top variant also has turn-by-turn navigation.
Engine: Engine: The Yamaha MT-15 is powered by a 155cc,liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine that makes 18.4PS at 10,000rpm and 14.1Nm at 7500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed constant-mesh transmission with a wet, multi-plate disc clutch.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The MT-15 V2 also gets a Deltabox frame, monoshock, and brakes with the older model. The MT-15 has a cast aluminium rear swingarm and it has an golden-coloured inverted fork. Braking is handled by a 282mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS.
