Hyundai India will launch the second-generation 2025 Venue on November 4. For the first time, the updated sub-4 metre SUV has been spotted undisguised in India. The new Venue was previously spotted in South Korea. As part of its generation update, the second-gen SUV will get big changes to its design, cabin, and feature list. Here’s a quick look at what was spotted:
The India-spec 2025 Venue looks a lot similar to the one spied earlier in South Korea. The face now gets a wider rectangular grille with shiny chrome inserts, unlike the all-black grille seen in the global model. Otherwise, things are the same with vertically stacked LED headlamps and a connected light bar with C-shaped DRLs. To top it off, a chunky silver skid plate at the bottom adds some ruggedness to the look, too.

From the side, the Venue has ditched its rounded silhouette for a boxier look. The bulging fenders give it a muscular appearance, while the new 5-spoke alloys get an aerodynamic design. You also spot a silver insert on the revised C-pillar, another design element borrowed from the Creta. The squared-off wheel arches with thick cladding and the taller silver roof rails gel well with the Venue’s new styling.

At the back, things again look sharper and more premium. The LED taillights connected by a light bar placed on a gloss black panel make it look more premium than before. At the same time, the skid plate has gotten chunkier at the rear, too.

Overall, the second-gen Venue’s design is now in line with the carmaker’s latest design language.

While we haven’t got a full look at the India-spec Venue’s interior yet, Hyundai has already confirmed one big upgrade: a pair of bigger 12.3-inch screens. One’s for infotainment and the other for the digital instrument cluster, replacing the smaller 8-inch infotainment and semi-digital cluster from the old model. One can also expect it to feel a lot more premium inside with quality materials.

Earlier spy shots have also revealed a new dashboard design with updated AC vents, a fresh steering wheel, and a new touch-based AC control panel.
Hyundai is known for going all-out when it comes to features, and this one’s no exception. Apart from those twin 12.3-inch screens, the new Venue will also likely pack dual-zone climate control, ventilated and powered front seats, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.
In terms of safety, it is confirmed to get an upgraded level-2 ADAS suite. And we expect it to be equipped with more updates like a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors, besides basics such as six airbags, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors.
When it comes to engines, Hyundai is likely to keep things same as the current Venue, specifications of which are as follows:
83 PS / 114 Nm 1.2-litre petrol paired with a 5-speed manual
120 PS/ 172 Nm 1-litre turbo-petrol paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic
115 PS/ 250 Nm 1.5-litre diesel option paired with a 6-speed manual
The diesel engine might also get an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic this time around, instead of being manual-only.

All in all, the 2025 Hyundai Venue looks like it’s growing up, not just in design but in attitude. Its design now stands shoulder to shoulder with its bigger brothers, the Creta and Alcazar. We also expect it to be far more feature-loaded than before. If Hyundai gets the pricing right, especially with the help of GST 2.0, it might just raise the bar against rivals like the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Skoda Kylaq, Renault Kiger, Maruti Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
