Two-wheeler maker TVS Motor Companytoday said its StaR branded motorcycles have crossed 30 lakh units sales mark since its inception.
"It has crossed the 3 mn mark in cumulative sales of StaR brand of motorcycles," the company said in a statement. After launching the brand in 2004, TVS roped in Indian cricket team captain M S Dhoni as its brand ambassador in 2005 and he still represents the StaR motorcycles, it added.
"TVS StaR was introduced as part of the company''s customer centric approach... Constant upgrades with new features, styling and refreshing graphics at regular intervals have helped us achieve this milestone," TVS Motor Company President (Marketing) H S Goindi said.
