The Tata Nexon EV can be purchased outright or via a subscription plan in the country. While the carmaker has recently hiked prices of the EV, the subscription plans see a price drop yet again. The Nexon EV’s subscription plan now begins from Rs 29,500 per month, making it an even more attractive proposition for those looking to rent Tata’s electric SUV. Here are the revised subscription prices:

As seen in the table above, the monthly subscription plans for the Nexon EV have reduced by up to Rs 5,900 per month. However, prices for the base 12-month plan remain the same as before. These revised prices will be valid for a limited time. Just like before, only the mid-spec XZ+ variant is offered in the subscription plan. The XM and XZ+ Lux variants can only be bought outright.
The Nexon EV is one of India’s affordable long-range EVs priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s powered by a 125PS electric motor that draws power from a 30.2kWh battery pack and offers an ARAI-claimed range of 312km. The battery pack supports fast charging and can be charged from zero to 80 percent in an hour.
Currently, the Nexon EV doesn’t have any direct rivals in the country, however, it indirectly takes on the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric. It will soon also face competition from the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 Electric.
