Porsche Cajun to heat up the SUV segment

The German car-maker has finally announced the release of its new sports model, the Porsche Cajun on November 29, 2010. This efficient and sporty model is expected to help expand Porsche’s already successful portfolio in the SUV sector. 

In addition to the new Cayenne, which has clearly consolidated its market position as the most successful sporty SUV in the premium segment, the 'Cajun' will also make a positive impact, offering typical Porsche features such as lightweight construction, dynamic handling and agility.

During the meeting, the Supervisory Board of Porsche laid the foundations for continuous and successful growth of the company. The Supervisory Board has instructed the Board of Management to drive forward the development of a further model series up to series production.

Apart from this new make, the automakers have also produced other successful vehicles such as the Cayenne SUV, the 911, the Panamera, the Cayman, and last but not least the Boxster. As a desirable entry model in the Porsche world, the Cajun aims to attract new and even younger customers and it will hopefully stir up their attention to the premium brand.
