Ola has delayed the booking date for its S1 and S1 Pro e-scooters, again! The portal was supposed to go live on November 1 but has now been scheduled for December 16, 2021. However, you can still reserve your slot for Rs 499 on the company’s official website.
Apart from the delay in the second batch booking, Ola hasn’t commenced the deliveries of the first lot either. Moreover, since the company has no dealership model as of now, it’s practically impossible for potential buyers to get a test ride. This could further raise dilemmas regarding the quality and finishing of the product, since people are yet to get their hands on it in the real world.
Anywho, if you want to reserve one for yourself, here’s the booking amount and other details for you to refer to. The asking price for the base model is set at Rs 99,999 and that for the Pro model is set at Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru excluding subsidies).
But, the price drops by a substantial margin once you avail all the subsidies. Deliveries for the e-scooter will be carried on a first-come-first-serve basis.
