The wait is finally over! Customers can purchase the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters using the Ola app. The process was delayed by a week and Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO, Ola Electric, had issued an apology as well. Anywho, here are the details regarding the purchase procedure.
The registration amount has been set at Rs 499, followed by an advance payment of Rs 20,000. Customers can opt to pay the entire pending amount at once, prior to the delivery. The S1 is priced at Rs 99,999 and the S1 Pro costs Rs 1,29,999 (both ex-showroom).
Once the advance payment is done, you will receive the shipment and delivery details in the next 72 hours. For a hassle-free experience, Ola will conduct the entire process online. Deliveries will commence from October on a first-come-first-serve basis.
If you haven’t bought the Ola S1/S1 Pro and are keen on getting one, we’ve explained the entire procedure here. Moreover, if you want to know about its long list of features in detail, here’s a thorough breakdown.
Considering that the company claims to have received 1 lakh registrations for its e-scooter, it’ll be quite interesting to see how Ola copes with the logistics and the overall delivery process.
