Okinawa Launches PraisePro Electric Scooter In India

The Okinawa PraisePro has been launched in India priced at Rs 71,990 (ex-showroom). It bridges the gap between the Praise and the I-Praise+. The scooter is available in two colours -- red and black. 

The PraisePro borrows its removable lithium-ion battery pack from the top-spec I-Praise+. It can be fully charged within 2-3 hours (claimed) via a normal wall socket, a feature also seen on the Revolt RV400. The base variant packs a conventional lead-acid unit which takes around 6-8 hours for a full charge. 

Powering the PraisePro is a 2500W BLDC motor that’s capable of achieving a top speed of around 65-70kmph in Turbo mode. Pair this with its lithium-ion battery and it can return an ARAI-certified range of 110km in Eco mode and 88km in Sports mode. The scooter shares most of its features with the standard Praise. This includes central locking with an anti-theft alarm, keyless entry and a USB charging port. 

The festive season usually brings with it a truckload of offers on two-wheelers and Okinawa is no exception.
