Jaguar Land Rover And Tata Power To Set Up EV Charging Infrastructure In India

Jaguar will launch the I-Pace In India by the end of this year

Jaguar Land Rover India has joined hands with Tata Power to establish charging infrastructure in the country. With this partnership, Tata Power will provide charging solutions to JLR’s retail network of 27 outlets across the nation. It will also provide home charging solutions to any customer’s residence or office. A wide range of chargers, AC or DC, right from 7 kW to 50 kW capacity, will be supplied by Tata Power. All after-sales duties will also be handled by Tata Power. 

This move comes ahead of the Jaguar I-Pace’s launch, providing a strong case for it with the dedicated charging network. This will also benefit all EV models from Jaguar and Land Rover in the future. Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India, said: “This tie-up is one step forward in creating the right ecosystem enabling a simple and hassle free charging experience for owners of our first Electric Vehicle, the Jaguar I-PACE, which makes its debut in India later this year.”

05th March 2020, Mumbai: Jaguar Land Rover India has announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Tata Power to offer end-to-end EV charging solutions. Tata Power will provide charging solutions for Jaguar Land Rover in India, across its retail network of 27 outlets in 24 cities and at customer’s residence and/or office. India’s largest integrated Power Company, Tata Power will be responsible for providing a range of AC and DC chargers, starting from 7 kW to 50 kW capacity. Tata Power will be the preferred partner to facilitate the installation and management of chargers at the designated premises and other after-sales related support services.
