Hero MotoCorp has finally launched the Maestro Edge 125 in India. Customers can opt from three different variants - Fi, Carb (disc) and Carb (drum), priced at Rs 62,700, Rs 60,000 and Rs 58,500 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi), respectively. Though the Maestro Edge 125 looks identical to its 110cc version in terms of design, there are a couple of extra features that help it stand out from the Maestro Edge 110.   • It gets a sharp and angular design language with six new colours - Pearl Fadeless White, Panther Black, Matte Blue, Matte Brown, Matte Vernier Grey and Matte Red.

  • The apron now features an LED DRL with sporty graphics that match the new colour schemes. The Headlight uses a conventional halogen bulb.

  • The Maestro Edge 125 borrows its analogue-digital instrument console from its 110cc counterpart, albeit with a blacked out finish.

  • It gets a 4-into-one key fob which can remotely open the seat and the external fuel filler cap.

  • Much like the Hero Destini 125, the seat on the Maestro Edge 125 gets a two-tone texture.

  • It also features a retractable under seat hook for convenience.

  • Notably, the Maestro Edge i3S Carb gets a 5.5-litre fuel tank while the Fi variant can hold only five litres.

  • The external fuel filler cap placed above the tail light is neatly hidden away under a pop-up panel.

  • The underseat storage on the Maestro Edge 125 features a USB charging port for your smartphone and a boot light for better visibility at night.

  • Hero MotoCorp offers the Maestro Edge 125 in both fuel-injected and carbureted variants.

  • The fuel-injection variant makes 9.24PS while the carb version produces 8.83PS. That said, both of them deliver a similar torque output of 10.2Nm.

  • Underpinnings like its telescopic fork, rear monoshock, diamond-cut 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels have been carried over from the Maestro Edge 110.
