Here's What You Can Expect Out Of The 2025 Kia Carens, Its Coming Sooner Than You Think...

The Kia 2025 Carens is set to be unveiled this April and its prices are expected by the end of May or June starting. The three-row MPV is expected to get a revised design, added features, and be a hefty contender in its segment. In fact, the upcoming Carens might be christened with a new moniker and kept on sale beside its current model. Curious about what’s more to it? Here’s a detailed look at all the things you can expect from it.

Kia 2025 Carens Design

Based on spy shots, the 2025 Carens will feature a revised grille design along with sleeker LED headlamps. The bumper design might also be revised for a more modern appearance and to keep it up to date.

On the side, expect subtle changes in body lines while the overall silhouette is likely to remain the same. New alloy wheels are also expected to keep things fresh. Apart from that, one can expect new colour options to be on offer as well.

At the rear, the taillights could be revised with a connected LED light bar and a redesigned bumper as well.

Kia 2025 Carens Interior And Features

Inside, the 2025 Carens is expected to get an updated dashboard layout with more soft-touch materials, making the cabin feel more upmarket. Apart from that, one can expect new colour schemes as well.

Feature-wise, it could be packed in with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a bigger 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, front and rear ventilated seats, powered seats, dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof-- things we've already seen with the recently launched Kia Syros. Additionally, the new Carens can also get rear entertainment screens.

Its safety suite should also be updated with a new Level-2 ADAS which can be a deal-breaker in its segment. Apart from that, it should get the usuals such as multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera and electronic stability control.

Kia 2025 Carens Powertrain

The 2025 Carens is likely to retain its current petrol, turbo petrol and diesel engine options. 

Other than being available in ICE versions, the bigger news is the all-electric Carens EV, which will also follow the new Carens and will be based on the same. It is slated for launch later this year and could offer a driving range of over 400 km and support fast charging.

Kia 2025 Carens Price And Rivals

The new Kia Carens is expected to come at a slight premium over the current model, which starts at Rs 10.59 lakh (ex-showroom). We reckon prices for the updated Carens could start from around Rs 11.5 lakh (ex-showroom). 

With these updates, the Carens would potentially be a great option to consider instead of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, XL6, Hyundai Alcazar or Toyota Rumion.
