The Lusso and GTC nomenclature is back, and if you are a Ferrari fan, this is a cause for celebration. And just like in the past, the names are on a new Ferrari that offers 2+2 seating and an elegant exterior with breakneck performance. The 4 in the name of course means 4-wheel-drive and just like the FF before it Ferrari aims to make this car for the customer who wants to drive this car as much as possible and not store it as a garage queen or for special occasions only.

The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso is a refinement of the FF’s shooting brake coupe with a more streamlined design and a more aggressive front end. You get new headlamps and a more angled front bumper which makes the make the car look much better. But it is at the rear that really makes an impression. Ferrari has brought back the twin tail lights that adorned 2+2s like the 456GT and the 612 Scaglietti in the past in an all new avatar. The new GTC4 Lusso also gets a more aggressive tail gate and a new rear diffuser along with new exhaust tips.

On the engines front, the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso gets a V12 engine that makes 690PS of peak power and 697Nm of peak torque. The GTC4 Lusso makes 80 percent of peak power at just 1750rpm which makes it exciting to drive even at slower speeds. The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso also gets all-wheel-drive and all-wheel-steering as standard. All said and done, the new Ferrari GTC4 Lusso might not be as precise to drive as the likes of the Ferrari 488GTB but will certainly appeal to audiences who, like the FF before it, will want to use their supercar on a regular basis.
