Ferrari Amalfi Spider Unveiled: Is This The Ultimate Entry-Level...

Ferrari delivers a one-off creation for you! In this case, it's called the HC25. Built on the F8 Spider platform, the HC25 makes other Ferraris look mass-market. This one-off Special Projects creation was revealed at Ferrari Racing Days at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas.
The brief? Take an already spectacular mid-engined V8 spider and reimagine it with styling cues borrowed from the F80 hypercar and 12Cilindri. Someone clearly could not wait for the new Ferrari models to come out with this new design philosophy and wanted early access. The result is a geometric, angular, and beautiful reinterpretation of what a Ferrari spider can look like.
The HC25's most prominent detail is its headlamp treatment: vertically arranged boomerang-shaped DRLs, a first on any Ferrari road car. However, this seems to be the way forward for the next generation of Ferrari models and can be a preview of the future. Another highlight is the gloss-black band running across the midsection that amplifies its unique, distinct flavour. This prancing horse is finished in a rich-looking matte Moonlight Grey paint scheme, with edgy five-spoke alloys featuring diamond-finished outer rims.

The cabin adopts a grey-and-yellow colour theme drawn from Ferrari's own prancing horse logo and the iconic yellow brake callipers. There are a lot of bits and bobs from other Ferraris here, but make no mistake, since the customer seems to love an analogue feel and there are physical buttons for pretty much everything!

What is also commendable is the fact that it looks inherently Ferrari and not an over-the-top commission-spec interior trying to match the living room, bathroom, or any other aspect of the client's home.

Beneath its entirely bespoke skin, the HC25 rides on the F8 Spider platform, Ferrari's last mid-engined open-top architecture built around a non-hybrid twin-turbo V8. Ferrari's 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, carried over wholly from the F8 Spider donor car. Outputs remain identical at 720 PS and 770 Nm of torque, figures that made the F8 one of the most devastatingly quick mid-engined Ferraris ever built.

The performance numbers tell the story rather directly. A claimed 0-100 kmph sprint of just 2.9 seconds puts the HC25 firmly in hypercar territory, while the 340 kmph top speed means serious business!

The HC25 looks less like a client indulgence and more like Ferrari Design Studio testing public appetite for a harder-edged visual direction. The vertical DRL motif and geometric surfacing already appear on the F80 and 12Cilindri; the HC25 confirms this is a deliberate house style, not a one-off experiment. For anyone tracking where Ferrari's design is heading, this spider is the clearest preview yet: expect sharper lighting signatures and angular bodywork to filter down across the production range in the coming model cycle.
