In the past few weeks though, we have received images and specifications of several Bajaj motorcycles that are most likely to be launched in the coming few weeks. The recent one to join this list is the Avenger 220 Street BS6. According to RTO documents, the BS6 Avenger 220 makes 19PS of power at 8400rpm, which is exactly the same as the BS4 model!
The RTO documents also suggest that the BS6 Avenger Street 220 is a bit shorter than its BS4 counterpart. But this could be due to updated mirrors or a new windscreen. The rest of the dimensions remain the same as before.

Even the mechanicals are expected to remain the same, which means it could be equipped with the same telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers as before. Even the braking setup which consists of a disc at the front and a drum at the rear, coupled to a single-channel ABS, could be carried forward.
There’s no word on the prices yet, but we expect the upcoming BS6 Avenger 220 to cost around Rs 11,000 more than the current model which retails at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
