Auto makers are dressing up their car models for the festive season, to woo car buyers of India. Toyota Kirloskar Motor is also joining the bandwagon by giving a mild makeover to its Toyota Etios sedan and the Toyota Etios Liva hatchback.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has termed these models as the ‘New Etios’ and ‘New Etios Liva’, with minor changes to the exterior and interior design. The Toyota Etios sedan gets a new chrome finished front facia with a ‘single tooth’ grille design, while the new Toyota Liva hatch also features the new grille, but without the chrome accents. We couldn’t spot much change in design on the side profile of the rear of the two new models, except the parking sensors which now seem to have become a standard fitment.

The interiors have also received a mild upgrade, with use of new fabrics for the upholstery and also on the door panels. The steering wheel comes wrapped in faux leather, while the gear stick mount gets chrome highlights. Driver-side airbags could also come as standard, along with electrically adjustable outer rear view mirrors.

The new Toyota Etios sedan will be the first model to be introduced on October 15, followed by the new Toyota Liva hatchback. Mechanically, the cars will remains unchanged, though we can expect a marginal hike in price. The current generation Toyota Etios is price between Rs 5.39 lakh to Rs 8.08 lakhs, and the Toyota Liva costs from Rs 4.40 lakh to Rs 6.91 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).
