When we talk about festivals and cars parallelly, it’s clear that something special is in store from the car marques. Multiple categories, including hatchbacks, SUVs, and MPVs from brands like Maruti, Toyota, and Renault, have been decked out in limited-period special festive editions in India this Diwali.
So, if you’re looking to bring home a car under ₹10 lakh this season, we’ve detailed all the newly launched special edition models that are currently available.
If you're in the market for a special edition hatchback or sub-4m SUV on a budget, Toyota has introduced festive editions for the Taisor and Glanza that carry no additional premium. While all variants of the Glanza come with this special edition, for the Taisor, it’s limited to the turbo petrol models.
Here’s the list of key additions under the package that you get.

Both cars come equipped with dealer-fitted official accessories, potentially saving you up to ₹20,000 on each. The starting ex-showroom prices for the Taisor and Glanza are ₹7.73 lakh and ₹6.9 lakh, respectively. If you’re willing to stretch your budget slightly, Toyota has also rolled out a similar limited edition for the Rumion MPV and Hyryder compact SUV. You can find more details about all the cars in this article.
Renault India is also celebrating the festive season with its ‘Night and Day’ special edition that’s available across their lineup. However, this limited edition is available for only 1,600 units across the mid-spec trims of each model. Unlike Toyota, Renault is also charging a premium of up to ₹20,000 for the Kiger and Triber, while the Kwid is being offered at the same price as its standard version.
Here are all the additions you get:

All three cars come with a new dual-tone colour. For the Kwid, there are no changes apart from the exterior shade, while the Kiger and Triber also receive upgrades like a larger infotainment display and a rearview camera, alongside the cosmetic accessories. We've provided the variant-wise prices for all three models in this article.
As we continue discussing budget-friendly special editions, you'll be glad to know that Maruti Suzuki has launched three distinct festive editions for their popular hatchbacks – the Wagon R, Swift, and Baleno. Much like Toyota, these Maruti models come with cosmetic accessory upgrades at no extra cost, except for the Wagon R Waltz edition, which also includes a feature update as well.
Here’s the list of what all are new:
Wagon R Waltz Edition |
Swift Blitz Edition |
Baleno Regal Edition |

While the special edition is available across all variants of the Baleno, it is limited to specific trims for the Wagon R and Swift. The Wagon R Waltz edition starts at ₹5.65 lakh, with the Swift and Baleno priced at ₹6.49 lakh and ₹6.66 lakh respectively. To find out which variants get these editions, you can refer to this article.
Although these editions don’t bring any major performance or feature upgrades, the added cosmetic accessories can help your car stand out on the road. If you’re a fan of accessorized cars, this festive season is a great opportunity to save on those extras. However, this offer is available only until Diwali on October 31.
