The Japanese carmaker has just launched a Limited Edition of the Taisor, which packs in accessories worth Rs 20,160 for no additional cost. It is available with all the turbo-petrol equipped variants (G and V variants) of the SUV, and here’s a look at what you get with it:

With the new limited edition, you get accessories worth Rs 20,160 for no additional cost. These are cosmetic additions over the standard vehicle, which help the Taisor look bolder and beefier.
Additions towards the front include chrome treatment around the huge grille and inserts on the headlights. Furthermore, it also gets a front lip that can be finished either in granite grey or a red hue.
The side profile gets a chunkier side skirting with additional cladding and door sills. It also gets a door visor for protection against water in heavy rains. The rear gets a simple spoiler, which can again be finished either in granite grey or a red shade.
The other two changes are in the interior, where you now get all-weather 3D floor mats, along with a welcome door lamp. Rest of the cabin, including its equipment, remains unchanged.
So with the top-spec Taisor, you get features like a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless phone connectivity, auto AC, auto IRVM, heads-up display, wireless phone charging, cruise control and a 360-degree camera. Safety kit includes six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and three-point seatbelts for all passengers.
This new limited edition of the Taisor is limited to the turbo-petrol engine, which is a 1-litre three-cylinder engine, paired with 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. It puts out 100PS/148Nm at its peak performance. There’s also a 90PS/113Nm 1.2-litre NA petrol engine available with the standard Taisor.
Given that all the additions of this edition are complimentary, the prices of the turbo-petrol variants remain unchanged, which juggle between Rs 7.73 lakh and Rs 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom). Turbo-petrol variants of the Taisor start from Rs 10.55 lakh. It rivals the Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Renault Kiger.
