Popular models are at times offered in special edition versions with cosmetic tweaks to enhance their appeal. These editions not only provide a sense of exclusivity but also offer certain upgrades over the variants they are based on. If you are planning to buy a Maruti car this festive season, here are four models that are available in special edition versions.
Maruti launched the Waltz Edition of the Wagon R which brings unique styling enhancements both on the outside and inside. Exterior upgrades include chrome fog lamp garnishes, chrome inserts on the front grille, and body side moulding to enhance its rugged touch.

Inside, you will find accessories like floor mats and seat covers, along with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 4-speaker audio setup, all at no extra cost. The Wagon R Waltz Edition is available in three variants: Lxi, Vxi, and Zxi. It can be had with either the 67 PS 1-litre petrol engine or the 90 PS 1.2-litre petrol engine options. You can also have this special edition with a factory-fitted CNG kit as well, paired with a 1-litre petrol engine. Prices for the Wagon R Waltz Edition start at Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
If you have been eyeing the Maruti Grand Vitara, the Dominion Edition could save you up to Rs 52,699. This special edition includes several exterior and interior accessories that would otherwise cost extra if purchased separately from dealerships. These accessories include a side step, rear skid plates, door visors, and body-side moulding.

You also get 3D floor mats, seat cushions, sill guards, and other interior styling kits. The Grand Vitara Dominion Edition is available in Delta, Zeta, and Alpha variants, with prices starting from Rs 12.20 lakh (ex-showroom). You can find the detailed variant-wise pricing here. Do note that the Grand Vitara Dominion Edition is available for purchase only during October 2024.
Maruti is offering the Baleno Regal Edition with a styling kit across all its variants at no extra cost. It can also be equipped with a factory-fitted CNG kit paired with the 90 PS 1.2-litre petrol engine. The Regal Edition adds mud flaps, underbody spoilers at the front and rear, body side moulding, and upper grille garnish, enhancing the premium hatch’s overall look.

Inside, you get accessories like a steering cover, window curtains, and a tyre inflator. Prices for the Baleno Regal Edition are in line with the standard variants, ranging from Rs 6.66 lakh to Rs 9.83 lakh (ex-showroom). Opting for the Regal Edition can save you up to Rs 60,200.
Like the Baleno Regal Edition, the Maruti Swift Blitz Edition comes equipped with styling accessories at no extra cost. It is available in the Lxi, Vxi, and Vxi (O) variants, but not in the top-spec Zxi trim. Potential savings with the Swift Blitz Edition can go up to Rs 49,848.

Accessories include door visors, a roof-mounted spoiler, body side cladding, floor mats, LED fog lamps, and seat covers. The Blitz Edition is also available with CNG variants and is also offered with the automatic gearbox choice paired with the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. Pricing for the Swift Blitz Edition is in line with the above-mentioned standard variants, ranging from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 8.47 lakh (ex-showroom).

While all the above-mentioned special editions focus on offering additional accessories at no extra cost, they will only be available for a limited period. We also think Maruti is using these editions to capitalise on the festive season sales.
