After revealing the Evoque facelift globally last year, Land Rover has brought the cute little (in Range Rover terms) SUV to India. Launched at Rs 67.9 lakh (ex-showroom), the Range Rover Evoque facelift is significantly more affordable than the outgoing model, despite packing multiple updates, albeit minute ones. Here’s what you need to know about the smallest Land Rover SUV:
There aren’t extensive revisions to the 2024 Evoque’s styling. The overall styling is still rounded, thanks to flared wheel arches and the curved nose. But the latter now incorporates the latest Range Rover grille design with the horizontal slats. The headlights are now slimmer and get new graphics for the DRLs.
The floating effect for the roofline is still one of the talking points for the Evoque. But the new addition here is the new wheel design with ‘diamond-turned’ finish. Flush door handles maintain the clean symmetry in profile as we move towards the rear which is nearly identical to the outgoing model. Only revision can be seen on the taillights which are now slimmer but still sport the same stretched U-shaped graphic.
Two new hues have been added to the Evoque’s colour palette: Tribeca Blue and Corinthian Bronze. The dual-tone roof option comes in the form of Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze shades.
If the cabin of the predecessor wasn’t minimalistic enough, this one certainly is. A single 11.4-inch infotainment system running JLR’s Pivi Pro takes up most of the real estate on the dashboard, which itself is clean and sophisticated, free of any grades or interruptions. The AC controls are inside the screen itself, which frees up space in the central console.
Wireless phone charging is now standard, and you get features like a panoramic sunroof, climate control, electric front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, air filter, and connected car features.

The Evoque continues to get both 2-litre diesel and petrol engine options. These are paired with a 48 V mild-hybrid system that helps boost efficiency. There are a host of driving modes on offer : eco, comfort, grass-gravel-snow, mud-ruts, sand, dynamic, and automatic. Being a Range Rover, the Evoque is driven using all four wheels (all-wheel-drive system). The international-spec Evoque also gets a plug-in hybrid petrol powertrain.
